2018 Buffalo State SAE Baja Logo

I got the chance to make a new logo for the 2018 Buffalo State Motorsports Baja team.

I was first given a rough concept from the client that I used as a reference for my initial sketch. Once I was approved on the sketch I went ahead and cleaned up the lines, added color and some simple shading. Instead of nothing around the car, I used a design similar to the Buffalo State shield shape from the school logo. The "We like it rough!" caption was moved around a lot during work. Once I had the final image, I altered the colors on the font and shield slightly to fit with the different colored shirts it would be printed on.
